ASHTON LANE
The band Ashton Lane have a romantic back-story and come from fine musical stock. They are husband and wife duo Esther and Tim O'Connor and they are part of a new wave of homegrown modern country music originating in the UK.

 

Last year they received nominations in two categories at the BCMAs (British Country Music Awards) for best duo and best song.

 

2017 sees Ashton Lane gearing up towards the release of 3 new singles and an album to follow.

INTO THE ARK
Into The Ark are Dane Lloyd & Taylor Jones. Hailing from Blackwood in South Wales, Dane & Taylor’s story is one that probably resonates with many aspiring musicians and dreamers across the globe.

 

They met and bonded over their passion for gigging and their love for writing and each other’s taste in music. But it’s their hauntingly pitch perfect harmonies and beautiful lyrics that sets this duo apart.

BOBBY DOES DYLAN
At the turn of the decade Robert Harrison aka “Bobby Does Dylan” decided that he was going to start a journey into the world of Bob Dylan. His life had taken him through the world of music and of recent years, film, but now he was turning his attention to becoming Bob Dylan.

THE CAMANS
The Camans are 3-piece acoustic combo, Guitars, Violin, ukulele and Vocals with a touch of live percussion. A mix of contemporary covers, folk and Trad.

SOUTH RIVER BLUES BAND
The South River Blues Band have been together for some five years, playing covers of classic blues songs which are familiar, easy on the ear and invoke a foot stomping hand clapping reaction from audiences around Scotland. The band are a six piece with bass, drums, vocals, two guitars and keys making a formidable sound which, on occasion, changes to an interesting ‘un-plugged’ format with stunning results.

DR HIP & THE BLUES OPERATION
Festival favourites Dr Hip and the Blues Operation are making a welcome return to Bluebell this year, bringing their soulful rhythm and blues sound back to the beer garden. This six-piece band offers dual vocals, searing guitar and keyboard and punchy rhythms to get you out of your seat and on to the floor.

It’s the blues that make you happy – it can only be Dr Hip…

We play covers inspired by a whole range of experiences through years of playing in bands. We are a group of mates who love playing music and have got together to play songs that we love to hear and get a real buzz from playing live.

MIC CLARK
Born into a large Irish musical family in the heart of Glasgow, Mic began his musical journey on violin from 3-9yrs old then moved onto piano which he studied into his early teens. It was in his mid 20s that Mic picked up the guitar, singing at home or at nights out on the Glasgow live music scene where he met local musicians and began writing songs.

THE TRAVELLING RYTHYM DEVILS
A Blues/Rhythm & Blues band covering many of the greats amongst their own material. The band originated 4 years ago with our lead Bill and the current members being together for 2 years, the best lineup so far!

TOAST
With a setlist that spans six decades, covering the very best in rock, pop & party music known to man and beast! Toast make their debut appearance at the Bluebell festival this year. The Dunoon based covers band cut their teeth playing to the US Navy servicemen from the Holy Loch base, whilst being the go to function band in the area for many years after.

DEEP RIVER
5 piece band covering Classic Country, Americana, Alt Country, Rock, Roots, Folk and any other good stuff that takes our fancy.

STARSKY
A Scottish singer songwriter who has played in a variety of venues from the small to Stadium gigs across the UK, Europe and the USA.
Inspirations of his music come from a variety of sources, songwriters like Ray Lamontagne, Ben Howard, Neil Young, James Taylor , Nick Drake and Paul Simon.

With a tight grasp of boss grooves, tremolo guitar, downright tunefulness and characterful harmonies celebrated in their naturally vibrant spirit you'll get some amazing Rock n' Roll, Bombastic 50's pop, Country Gospel and Rhythm & Blues from these wandering princes of the desert.
